Castrol Dev/Font tests

I wanted the font to sit next to the logo and come across as being as dynamic and bold a font of the logo without taking over it.

After looking at various fonts it was clear that the bolder fonts were working the strongest because they sat with the logo better.

I started to see if i could make more of logo for the edge like the existing packaging inspired by a car grill i set about trying to make it feel more like a logo.

After doing various colour variations and sitting it against the logo it kind of overpowers the castrol logo so i looked at removing the effects which again don't think worked. So i scrapped using this as an idea, but feel some of the type tests established what fonts were working so i started to use the avant garde font which i felt was working well with no effects.
