To create the drops of oil i decided to photograph some water then recolour the image of the water to a more oil colour in photoshop. I think should have tried getting the photos of the drops on a different material as i really wanted the droplets to have quite a smooth texture, but i couldn't photograph on white too well as many of the photos came out too bright with the droplets being unable to be seen clearly.
