Castrol Ideas

After some research i decided to get started with some ideas. I'm not sure whether i should go about redesigning the packaging itself and not just whats on the packaging. But i feel that the ideas that work are the ones which borrow layout and design styles usually associated with food. One of the idea is that of 'flavours', as their existing packaging isn't very clear as to the differences of each piece of packaging except for a small piece of text. The 'flavours' would basically consist of various colours and tessellating patterns to each type of oil. I feel that this is the best way of dividing up the packaging a little bit and help to make it clearer for the consumer which one they need. But the design style it self i am still unsure about. I not sure that some of the simpler designs would stand out that much along side other existing designs that much. Though the designs i feel work the most are the ones marked with a star.
